Tuesday & Tony: Borderline Personalities

By the late 1960s Tuesday Weld and Tony Perkins were a couple of young actors tired of the Hollywood grind. They co-starred in two films during this turbulent period: in Pretty Poison (1968) they orchestrated a violent end to their on-screen alter egos and Joan Didion’s Play It As It Lays (1972) showcases their talents as mature performers forging a new identity for the ’70s.
